IMPOWER WebSide is a browser-based viewer, which allows you to access and retrieve documents stored within the IMPOWER database.

WebSide utilizes Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Internet Information Server to search for documents stored in virtual folders by patient. Need a particular document? Simply launch your Web browser and enter an account number.

WebSide brings MPOWER forward with all of the associated documents for that patient. Simply find the document in question, displayed in reverse chronological order, and click the mouse.

WebSide provides a thin client solution, thereby reducing the processing requirements on the PC. On the server side it consists of Active Server Pages, HTML pages and OLE automation servers. On the client side, an ActiveX control permits the viewing of IMPOWER documents, including forms with overlays. Client side caching minimizes the need to transfer form overlays, thereby greatly reducing bandwidth requirements.
