Insurance Eligibility Verification
|
Once you've captured or entered the patient's name, date of birth, and basic insurance information such as the insurance ID, insured party, and payer, you're

What to Know Before Scanning/Signing

General Document Scanning
|
POWERstation lets you scan documents other than drivers' licenses and insurance cards. You can scan referral forms, acknowledgment of your HIPAA privacy policy,
consent for treatment, or anything else that will fit in your scanner. Before you watch this video, be sure to watch the one just above titled
"What to know Before Scanning/Signing".

Document Signing
|
You no longer need to have pre-printed forms just to capture patient signatures. You also won't have to store the paper or scan it. POWERstation lets you
capture patient signatures electronically using a signature capture pad like those found in retail outlets for credit card authorization. It also tracks what
forms require a patient signature, which forms the patient has already signed, and how frequently a form must be signed.
