POWERstation Desktop Edition is a front-end patient registration workstation for your Practice Management (PM) and EMR systems. Using a document scanner, signature pad, magnetic card reader, digital camera and Optical Character Recognition, POWERstation transforms patient registration into an entirely digitized process, virtually eliminating paperwork while instantly making new patient records available to applications throughout your network.

POWERstation Desktop Edition complements our POWERstation Kiosk software and hardware solution for patient self-service registration and check-in. POWERstation Desktop Edition allows your registration clerks to monitor the check-in process on each of your kiosks and see what changes are made by patients to their demographic and insurance information, the result of any automated insurance eligibility verifications, and what required forms were signed or skipped by the patient.

Install POWERstation's software and hardware add-ons to the registrar's existing PC. Scan and digitally convert a patient's handwritten registration forms, photo ID and insurance cards directly into the system. Photograph a patient, if needed, for your records. When a signature is required, POWERstation alerts you, displays the form for patient review and captures his or her signature through the signature pad. POWERstation seals the signature with the form and securely saves it as a legally binding, HIPAA-compliant, electronic document.
