IMPOWER's C.O.R.E. (Capture, Organization, & Retrieval Engine) is a powerful
document management system capable of capturing, storing, and organizing your
most common paper and electronic files for quick, efficient retrieval. By digitally
storing your records you have access to them from multiple locations, including
remote offices and home, and protect yourself from natural and man-made disasters.
The IMPOWER filing system mimics your paper filing system. You can have "cabinets"
for patients, payers, vendors, or employees. Each cabinet will then contain a
"folder" for each patient, payer, etc. Documents then reside in these folders and can
further be subdivided into categories and sorted chronologically. You can then access
a folder with a simple hotkey from almost any practice management or EMR system.
The IMPOWER security system prevents unauthorized users from accessing documents in
certain cabinets unless they have been explicity assigned permissions. You can further
limit users to either read-only or read-write access. Also, IMPOWER tracks access to all
documents so you can see who viewed a given document during a certain time span.
